The Making of Pasha

Every house has one fragrance that becomes its measure. For us, that is Pasha.

It began with a refusal. Early versions were rich but obvious — oud stacked on amber, the kind of loud opulence that fills a room and empties it just as fast. It smelled expensive. It did not smell inevitable. We discarded eleven versions.

The turn came from an unlikely pairing: dark chocolate against smoked oud. Not sweetness — depth. The bitterness of good chocolate rounds the smoke the way velvet rounds a sharp voice. Cinnamon and bergamot were added last, not first, purely to give the opening somewhere to descend from.

Pasha is our most expensive fragrance and we will not apologise for that. It carries the most precious materials in the collection and it is composed to last from the first hour of an evening to the last.
